4 MYSTERIOUS QUESTIONS ABOUT BEARDS (REVEALED)

I love my role here at 'The Beard Struggle'. I have been fortunate enough to speak with hundreds, if not thousands of beard enthusiasts and furry face admirers, as I receive many emails and messages each week from people seeking my advice.

Of course I am always only too happy to help out, and personally, reply to each and everyone of your messages as soon as I can! Today, I wanted to publicly answer some of the questions I see pop up every now and again, in the hope of helping out you folks, our marvelous blog readers. So, without any further delay, let us begin...

MY BEARD IS REAL PATCHY, SHOULD I JUST QUIT ALREADY?

One of the most asked questions I receive are from Gents searching for advice in regards to patchy, unbalanced growing beards. My advice I give them is often the same, NEVER GIVE UP.

It's real important to remember that no two beards are ever the same, as not only do they grow in a variety of colours and styles, but they also grow at very different rates as well. So, if your friend 'Bob' has only jut began growing out a beard, and already packs an impressive furry face, don't feel too envious, chances are given a little TLC and time you too could sport a beard that a king would be proud of.

Treating your beard to a premium beard oil and/or balm (much like our 'TBS' range!) might be that missing piece of the jigsaw you need. As our extensively tested range has a proven success rate with our loyal customers reporting back on how our products help fix 101 beard issues, patchiness being just one of many.

Take a moment to visit our exclusive online store and check out our range today, you'll not be disappointed, I'm certain of it.

I DON'T THINK I COULD PULL OFF THE BEARD LOOK, DO THEY SUIT EVERYONE?

If you have been toying around with the idea of growing out a little facial hair, my suggestion would be to go for it. I had been giving the idea of having some form of beard from my mid-teens, but never committed myself to it. Then some years later, and may I add 'before beards were considered cool' I said 'F*ck it!' and grew out an attempt at a chin strap style beard. Everyone hated it. My wife, my mother, my Brothers, literally EVERYBODY.

I'm a little strange and rather enjoy causing a shit storm in a tea cup, so continued to grow it out regardless. Cutting out the boring small print, over time I grew out a full 'lumberjack' style big bushy red beard. And now not only has my beard grown on me over the years I've had it, it's also grown on my friends and family too.

Admittedly beards may not suit everybody, but I don't think it's the beard that looks off, it's how the beholder chooses to style and care for it that makes all the difference. If you choose to sport out some face whiskers with little to no attention, it'll look crappy. It's as straightforward as that. But if you choose to look after your beard, and find a style that fits your face, you'll look a million dollars given a little time to grow.

So, in short, never give up, Brother.

DOES SHAVING A BAD BEARD ACTUALLY MAKE IT GROW BACK THICKER AND FASTER?

There's an old wives tale that has been circling the internet for many years that suggests if you shave your stubbly beard, it will grow back faster and thicker than it did before. Let me tell you, this is not the case at all. notice how I noted this as an 'old wives tale'? because that's all that it is, nonsense.

If you want your beard to grow faster, you have to take good care of it, regardless of it's age or size, and then you have to be real patient. It might feel like I'm teaching you to suck eggs here, but time is everything when growing out.

I CAN'T GET PAST THE ITCHY STAGE, PLEASE HELP!

Ah, the dreaded 'beard itch' still haunts me to this very day, despite me not having experienced it for some years now. It has seen many potential beardsmen falter and fall back into the day-to-day grind of shaving. It's a tough stage to accomplish, but thankfully it is rather short lived, and can be overcome fairly smoothly as well.

Here's a few secrets that'll see you walk right through the itchy phase like a stroll in the park with your dog. First up, keep those whiskers clean! In doing so you'll sooth the skin, slowing the itch in the process. Secondly, splash a little 'TBS' oil on your fluff, regardless of how long it is or isn't. Our smart balance of essential oils will help nourish those hair follicles and soften the transition from 'nakey boy face' to 'bearded beast'.

So there you have it! Today I have answered some of your burning questions in our blog! If you liked the idea of this topic then be sure to let us know in the comments section you'll find provided below.
