Meaning that the opposite sex could be trying to capture your attention for all the right reasons, yet we simply overlook them as nothing more than friendly banter. On the flipside Women are equally as guilty of missing the signs and signals, where only 1 out of 5 times do ladies pick up on our flirtatious gestures. So it seems there's a huge hill to climb in order to sideline the miscommunication between the two sexes. I personally think the beard could be the distraction. Just a thought.

I guess this is why some ladies who don't necessarily tick the beard preference box when it comes to dating, yet often become rather fond of a little (or a lot!) facial gruff if their other half chooses to grow out a beard.
