THE MANY PRACTICAL USES OF BEARD OILS AND BALMS YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T KNOW

Hello and good day my fellow TBS blog readers. Who has that Friday feeling in their tummy? The weekend is almost with us which often means many of us can kiss goodbye to the working week in order to relax, so whatever you get upto this weekend I sure hope it's long, exciting and plentiful.

Today I have decided to test drive the many unknown purposes of beard oils, balms and butters, mostly for giggles, then to relay such findings back to you fine people of the internet. Sounds like a good deal, right?

So without another second wasted, let us start with today's blog which is titled The Many Practical Uses Of Beard Oils And Balms You Probably Didn't Know...

YOUR BEARD OIL WORKS GREAT ON SQUEAKY DOORS!

Here's a little known fact, beard oils are exactly just that, an oil. And oils can serve many practical purposes about the home and the workplace, one in particular of which I find extra annoying, a squeaky hinge on a door, of which I have tried and tested myself in recent weeks so can confirm this 100% works every damn time.

So, if you have a misbehaving door that likes to scream upon your entrance, then why not dab a little of that beard product in the right places, then give it a little wiggle and 'Taa Daa!' it is as if by magic, peace and harmony has been restored to your ears from that once troublesome noisy door frame.

YOUR BEARD BALMS AND OILS CAN GIVE EXTRA HOLD TO YOUR HAIRSTYLE AS WELL!

Do you ever find yourself left with a little too much product on your hands after a slight over-use of beard oil/balm from your face fuzz? Then worry not! simply apply the remaining product to the hair that gracefully sits upon your head. That is if unlike me, you're lucky enough to still have any.

Doing so will grant you a better controlled bouffant for the day ahead, as well as managing your facial hair in the process. And as an added bonus it will also smell equally as appetising too. Now, if that isn't a handy little trick to use that'll help save you a penny here and there then I don't know what is!

YOUR BIKE CHAIN LOOKING A LITTLE RUSTED UP? OILS AND BALMS CAN ALSO FIX THAT!

So, I recently dusted off my mountain bike from my outhouse and gave it a 'head to toe' inspection before taking a much needed cycle out on the open road once again. I was quick to see that because my bike had been sitting for a little over a year the cycle chain had started to become rather tatted and had began rusting and was crying out for some much deserved oil.

At the time I did not have much of anything to hand in my home other than my trusty TBS beard care kit range, so thought, heck, why not give this stuff a try?

I gently worked in just a few drops of oil onto the chain whilst rolling the chain thoroughly, and to my pleasant surprise noticed that it really did not take all that much to have the cycle mechanics running as smoothly as then once did before.

In fact I had to use hardly any of my product, and also discovered the balm worked equally as well in places. I know this may seem a little unorthodox to some, but trust me, it works like a charm as a quick fix solution for the problem at hand.

A SMALL DROP OF BEARD OIL WILL STOP YOUR GLASSES FROM STEAMING UP!

I recently became a fulltime spectacle wearer, and was quick to find that one of the most frustrating changes I have to contend with is condensation build up on my lenses. It seems that whenever I stop after a cycle ride, long walk out with the dog or just about anything that increases my body temperature for that matter causes my glasses to fog over and steam up rapidly quick.

This usually results in the need to stop whatever I may be doing and wipe away any condensation buildup on the glasses with those handy cloths you get with them, but it soon becomes a long drawn out battle to stop this from happening almost instantaneously. But here's a little trick that I have learned (by total mistake!) that I really want to share with you all.

I arrived back indoors following a much needed bike ride out with my daughter, and literally within seconds of sitting down I noticed my glasses had fully fogged out on me blocking my line of vision in the process.

I reached up to grab my wipes to fix the problem at hand, and in doing so moved my TBS Viking Rum oil to one side, leaving a tiny droplet of residue on my finger that I had not noticed right away. Then as I cleaned off my glasses I spotted that the oil mentioned had found its way to my glasses lenses, so I quickly wiped it away.

Upon wearing my glasses again shortly afterward I noticed that the usual fog I would get was not showing up again. And could only assume this was possibly due to the accidental beard oil incident earlier that same day, so I decided to give this a tester the following morning before I left the house.

And in doing so I can very much confirm this actually does work, and really well too. I think the key here is not to overuse the oil, as you'll just need the smallest droplet ever to use as this stuff really does go along way, and from here you can clear off your lenses without the worry of that dreadful condensation making a return for a while.

Not so sure if I'm might be telling you the truth or totally trolling your intelligence? Then why not give it a try for yourself and let us know your results!

BUT BEST OF ALL, IT MAKES YOUR BEARD LOOK THE BUSINESS!

Well, of course the very best use of both beard oils, balms and butters are using them to take jolly good care of a mans facial forest, I get that. And to be honest choosing to use them on everyday D.I.Y tips and tricks around your home could prove rather expensive in doing so in the long run. My guide was simply to highlight what COULD be done with these products and items, not necessarily what SHOULD.
